Job summary

Tetra Health & Rehab Center in Hendersonville, NC is seeking a compassionate Medication Aide (QMA) to administer medications as ordered by the attending physician, under supervision of a licensed nurse in a SNF setting.

You will provide a safe, supportive environment, assist residents with daily needs, and follow care plans and facility policies. Strong computer skills and EHR navigation are required; current QMA registry in good standing is necessary.

Qualifications

• Be listed in good standing on the state medication aide registry.
• Complete the QMA competency evaluation if required by state.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess basic computer skills and navigate EHR software.
• Maintain active registry/certification as a Nursing Assistant where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as ordered by the attending physician.
• Provide a safe environment and emotional support to residents.
• Follow residents' care plans and facility policies.
• Report changes to supervisors and participate in team care.
