Clinton House Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center seeks a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) to provide care for residents under nursing and medical staff guidance. Responsibilities include accurate vital signs, medication administration per physician orders, and maintaining compliance with HIPAA and safety protocols.

The role also involves delivering direct resident care, performing selected treatments, and supporting the caregiving team to ensure high-quality outcomes in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• QMA Certificate in good standing on file with the appropriate Department of Health and current CNA Certificate.
• One year experience in long-term care setting desired.

Responsabilités

• Obtains and records patient's vital signs and weight.
• Administers and documents medications following physician orders.
• Maintains compliance with policies, HIPAA, and safety procedures.
• Performs treatments not requiring licensed nurse (hot/cold apps, vitals).
• Observes, records, and reports medication effects.
• Provides direct resident care and may perform CNA duties as needed.
