Job summary

Sinceri Senior Living in Teaneck, NJ is seeking a part-time Caregiver/CNA to join our resident-centered team. The role involves medication assistance, daily living activities, and maintaining safety and dignity for residents in a supportive environment.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of care experience, a high school diploma (preferred), English proficiency, and complete Medication Aide training as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year of caregiver/CNA experience in residential or long-term care.
• Must read, write and speak English to communicate with residents and staff.
• Must complete Medication Aide training (and certification where required).

Responsibilities

• Provides medication assistance for residents per state regulations and policy.
• Maintains medication cart and storage room in order.
• Counts medications accurately and secures cart and storage room.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living as needed.
• Engages residents in activities and social interaction while providing care.
• Responds promptly to resident needs and requests for care.
• Upholds Residents’ Rights and company policies.
• Observes residents for changes and reports to a licensed nurse.
• Completes medication records, incident reports, and change-of-condition reports.
• Assists in dining room during meal times as needed.
• Encourages participation in activities and outings.
