Job summary

Sinceri Senior Living is hiring for a Full-Time role in a residential/long-term care setting. The position is hourly, 3rd shift, and on-site in Oregon, with duties including medication assistance and resident care.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and at least 1 year of CNA or caregiver experience, plus Medication Aide training where required. Excellent English communication is necessary, and a collaborative team environment is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year of experience as a Caregiver or CNA in elderly residential/long-term care.
• Must read, write, and speak English to communicate with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Must complete Medication Aide training (and state certification where required).

Responsibilities

• Provide medication assistance per state regulations and policy, including pouring, preparing, assisting with administration, and documentation.
• Maintain medication cart and storage room in neat condition.
• Ensure accurate medication counts and security of medication cart/storage room during assigned shifts.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, mobility).
• Engage residents in conversation and activities while providing personal care and medication assistance.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and obtain assistance as necessary.
• Uphold Residents’ Rights and company policies.
• Observe changes in condition and report to a licensed nurse promptly.
• Complete documentation such as MARs, incident reports, and change of condition reports promptly.
• Assist in dining room during meals as needed.
• Encourage participation in activities/outings and support self-expression.
• May assist with housekeeping duties.
