Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak English to communicate with residents, families and staff.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Caregiver or CNA in a residential or long-term care setting.
• Medication Aide training and state certification where required.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication assistance per state regulations and policy.
• Maintain medication cart and storage orderly.
• Ensure accurate medication counts and security of meds.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
• Engage residents in conversations and activities while assisting with care.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and request for care.
• Uphold Residents' Rights and company policies.
• Complete documentation (MARs, incident reports, change of condition).
• Assist in dining room during meals as needed.
• Encourage participation in activities and outings.
