Job summary

The Valley Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Mancos, CO is seeking dedicated Medication Aides to join a compassionate team. Full-Time and Part-Time shifts are available, offering competitive pay with daily pay options and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring residents, documenting observations, and collaborating with CNAs and nurses to support care plans in a family-centered, community-focused facility.

Qualifications

• Must have a current CNA certification to be considered.
• Current Colorado CNA license in the state of Colorado.
• Valid Colorado certification as a Medication Aide (or applicable qualifications to administer medications).
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Compassionate, team-oriented, and dependable.
• Committed to upholding care standards and contributing to a positive work environment.

• Administer medications accurately per orders and state guidelines.
• Monitor residents for medication side effects or changes in condition and report to supervising nurse.
• Maintain clear, timely documentation of medication administration and resident observations.
• Work closely with CNAs, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to support resident care plans.
• Provide respectful, dignified care in a safe, clean, and compassionate environment.
• Assist in promoting residents’ independence and overall well-being.

Your Role:

Who We’re Looking For:
