Job summary

The Valley Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Mancos, CO is seeking dedicated Medication Aides to join a compassionate team. Full-Time and Part-Time shifts are available, offering competitive pay with daily pay options and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring residents, documenting observations, and collaborating with CNAs and nurses to support care plans in a family-centered, community-focused facility.

Qualifications

Must have a current CNA certification to be considered.
Current Colorado CNA license in the state of Colorado.
Valid Colorado certification as a Medication Aide (or applicable qualifications to administer medications).
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Compassionate, team-oriented, and dependable.

Responsibilities

Administer medications accurately per orders and state guidelines.
Monitor residents for medication side effects or changes in condition and report to supervising nurse.
Maintain clear, timely documentation of medication administration and resident observations.
Work closely with CNAs, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to support resident care plans.
Provide respectful, dignified care in a safe, clean, and compassionate environment.
Assist in promoting residents’ independence and overall well-being.
