Job summary

WELLQUEST MOUNTAIN WEST LLC in Reno, NV is seeking a Medication Technician to safely administer medications as ordered by the physician and under Health Services Director direction. You will maintain accurate MAR records and coordinate with residents, the pharmacy, and physicians.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, completion of the Medication Administration Course, at least one year of experience passing meds, and the ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of the Medication Administration Course.
• At least 1 year of experience successfully passing medications.
• Criminal record clearance and current first aid training.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medication services with residents, pharmacy, and physicians.
• Prepare medication for distribution and document administration.
• Maintain accurate MAR records and resident charts; audit and file paperwork.
• Assist medication aides and caregivers as needed and cover scheduling.
• Ensure medicine carts and rooms are orderly and securely stocked.
