Job summary

WellQuest Living, LLC is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to safely administer medications to residents according to physician orders and state regulations. You will maintain MARs, coordinate with pharmacy and physicians, and support daily resident care in a compliant, patient-centered environment.

The role emphasizes accuracy, communication, and teamwork in a licensed health care setting, with focus on elderly residents and adherence to Title 22 regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completed Medication Administration Course with passing grade.
• At least 1 year of experience successfully administering medications.
• Experience with elderly clients is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medication services with resident, pharmacy and physician.
• Inform local pharmacy of medication needs prior to resident arrival and verify dosages.
• Maintain and document Medication Administration Records (MARs) accurately.
• Assist with narcotic counts at the start and end of each shift.
• Keep medicine carts and rooms clean, organized and properly stocked.
• Assist medication aides and caregivers and support department scheduling as needed.
• Support community marketing efforts during tours and inquiries.
