Trinity Health in Clive, IA, is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician for the day shift. You will assist pharmacists, prepare medications, collect vitals, and support patients through therapy experiences. Knowledge of health benefits and payer management is valued.

The role requires an Iowa Pharmacy Technician license, 2–3 years of pharmacy experience, and proficiency with EMR and Microsoft Office. You will collaborate across departments to resolve insurance issues and help patients access

Formación

High School diploma or GED required.
Iowa Board of Pharmacy Certified Pharmacy Technician License required.
2-3 years of pharmacy experience (community, inpatient, ambulatory, insurance).
Knowledge of health benefit investigations, prior authorization support, patient financial assistance, medical terminology, diagnoses, and procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

Responsabilidades

Deliver patient care through patient preparation, vital sign collection and documentation.
Assist with procedures, exams, and diagnostic equipment; maintain aseptic technique.
Review payer reports and determine appropriate action for management.
Triage patients and assign to appropriate staff.
Communicate with external entities as needed.
Conduct outreach calls to patients and pharmacy staff.
Maintain EMR records and documentation.
Collaborate with clinicians, care coordinators, and pharmacy teams.
