Location: Columbia, TN

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Shift: 7 AM - 5 PM

Education Requirements

Experience Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service, member services, medical claims, healthcare administration, call center, or insurance experience preferred.
  • Experience handling high-volume inbound calls while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and outstanding customer service.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA privacy standards and confidential information handling preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, multitasking, research, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer and telephone.
  • Frequent use of computers, data entry systems, and customer service software.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with members, providers, internal departments, and external customers.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed to support business operations and member service goals.
Job Duties

  • Research member questions, identify root causes, and resolve issues efficiently while maintaining service and quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and company policies when handling confidential member information.
  • Support Medicare operations by assisting with adjustment screening, claims verification, and cross-functional projects as needed.
  • Collaborate with supervisors, team members, providers, and other departments to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and report system issues, process improvement opportunities, and online help resource updates.
  • Successfully complete required training programs, maintain performance scorecard standards, and contribute to team goals for quality, productivity, and member satisfaction.
