Are you passionate about the Medicare population, seeking a sales role with the potential to directly impact your income? Do you excel at building trusting community relationships and exceeding expectations? If so, we are looking for licensed, motivated, and self-driven individuals to join our team.

In this field position, you will build community relationships, drive self-generated sales, and meet sales goals independently. You will interact with Humana’s customers, external partners, and the community through face-to-face, virtual, and telephonic interactions. Face-to-face activities include grassroots marketing, community events, and visiting prospects at home. Our Medicare Sales Field Agents sell individual health plans and educate beneficiaries on our services, along with other products like Life, Annuity, Dental, Vision, and Prescription.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to conduct daily face-to-face interactions with prospective members in the field
• Active Health Insurance license or ability to obtain one before start
• Proficiency with laptops, mobile apps, CRM tools, and sales/marketing resources
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
• Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle insurance, and ability to pass Motor Vehicle Report
• Reliable internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps download, 10 Mbps upload)
• Work from a dedicated, interruption-free space to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
• Reside within the assigned territory/county

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Life and Variable Annuity Insurance licenses
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
• Experience with TEAMS, PowerPoint, community engagement, and selling Medicare products
• Bilingual skills in English and another language
• Experience in public speaking and presentations

Additional Information

• Language proficiency assessments may be required for non-English speakers
• Applicants may need to provide social security number for leader review, via a secure process

Schedule and Training

• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends
• Mandatory training during first 3-4 weeks

Travel

Remote position with occasional travel to offices for training or meetings.

Compensation

Annual salary: $31,800 - $43,800, plus potential commission based on performance. Total compensation varies by location and experience.
