Qualifications

• 8+ years in data engineering.
• 4+ years in healthcare data: claims, encounters, eligibility, and chart sources.
• 4+ years production experience with Databricks / Spark, PySpark, Python and SQL.
• Experience supporting risk-adjustment, actuarial, or finance workloads.
• Strong PHI, HIPAA knowledge and controls.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate data pipelines and analytic tables for Medicare revenue projection.
• Ingest, normalize, and reconcile claims, eligibility, EMR/chart extracts, and CMS artifacts.
• Implement HCC/ICD-10 mapping and versioning to support model year constructs.
• Own data quality, lineage, and snapshot/freeze processes for accruals and audits.
• Collaborate on Databricks lakehouse standards; Spark/PySpark, orchestration, CI/CD, access control.
• Provide trusted datasets to Modeling, Finance, Actuarial, and Revenue Integrity.
• Define SLAs for freshness; monitor drift and source changes.
• Lead and mentor data engineers; set engineering practices for a regulated environment.
• Support modular outputs for revenue, membership/mix, and evolving data products.
