Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a senior data engineer to own the Medicare revenue data foundation. You will build and operate data pipelines, ensuring timely, complete, and auditable member-month, diagnosis, and CMS-data for forecasting revenue.

The role requires 8+ years in data engineering, 4+ years with Databricks/Spark and risk-adjustment/finance workloads, plus strong HIPAA controls and data-quality capabilities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of data engineering experience.
• 4+ years in healthcare data (claims, encounters, eligibility).
• 4+ years hands-on with Databricks/Spark (PySpark), Python and SQL.
• Experience supporting risk-adjustment, actuarial, or finance workloads.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate data pipelines feeding the Medicare revenue projection model.
• Ingest, normalize, and reconcile claims/encounters, eligibility, and CMS artifacts.
• Own data quality, lineage, and reconciliation processes for accruals and audits.
• Collaborate on lakehouse standards with Databricks/Spark and CI/CD.
• Provide trusted datasets to Modeling, Finance, Actuarial, and Revenue teams.
• Lead data engineers and establish governance for a regulated environment.
