Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a senior data engineer to own the Medicare revenue data foundation, including claims, encounters, eligibility, and CMS files. You will build and maintain production-grade pipelines using Databricks / Spark and Python, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and auditability for forecasting revenue.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data engineering with healthcare data domains.
• 4+ years with Databricks / Spark (PySpark) and SQL in lakehouse/ELT.
• 4+ years supporting risk-adjustment, actuarial, or finance workloads.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate data pipelines and analytic tables for Medicare revenue projection.
• Ingest, normalize, and reconcile claims, eligibility, EMR, and CMS artifacts.
• Implement HCC/ICD-10 mapping and versioning for model consistency.
• Own data quality, reconciliation, lineage, and snapshot/freeze processes.
• Define lakehouse standards with Databricks, Spark, CI/CD, access control, and cost/performance.
• Provide trusted datasets to Modeling, Finance, Actuarial, and Revenue Integrity.
• Lead data engineers and set engineering practices in a regulated environment.
• Support modular outputs to evolve revenue engines.
