Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to own the Medicare revenue data foundation. You will design and operate data pipelines, ingest and reconcile CMS and healthcare data, and implement HCC/ICD-10 mappings to support revenue forecasting and accruals.

You will lead data engineers, define SLAs, and collaborate with Modeling, Finance, and Actuarial teams to deliver trusted, auditable datasets in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data engineering with healthcare data experience.
• 4+ years in production with Databricks / Spark, Python and SQL.
• Experience supporting risk-adjustment, actuarial, or finance workloads.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate data pipelines and analytic tables for Medicare revenue projection.
• Ingest, normalize, and reconcile claims, eligibility, EMR, and CMS artifacts.
• Implement HCC/ ICD-10 mapping and versioning for models.
• Own data quality, reconciliation, lineage, and snapshot processes.
• Partner with enterprise data/IT on Databricks lakehouse standards and CI/CD.
• Provide trusted datasets to Modeling, Finance, Actuarial, and Revenue Integrity.
• Define SLAs for freshness; monitor drift and source changes.
• Lead and mentor data engineers; set engineering practices in a regulated environment.
