Job summary

Brown & Brown is seeking a Coordinator to serve as a Medicare Secondary Payer Compliance liaison between insurers, administrators, attorneys, and internal teams. You will manage an active caseload containing confidential information and communicate with customers to ensure requested services are completed.

The role requires collaboration across teams, willingness to cross-train with teammates, adherence to confidentiality, and the ability to use multiple software programs to prepare documents

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and PDF software.
• Exceptional telephone etiquette.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of Workers' Compensation experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage an active caseload, processing services through product delivery.
• Correspond with customers in writing using templates and instructions.
• Obtain necessary information and documentation to complete requested services.
• Educate customers on available services and Medicare Secondary Payer Compliance.
• Enter data accurately into the case management system as requested.
• Prepare documents, templates, and other correspondence using multiple software programs.
• Review medical records to obtain rated ages.
• Maintain electronic file organization.
• Receive and respond to phone calls and emails addressing customer questions.
• Collaborate with all teams to meet customer needs and internal service standards.
• Escalate customer concerns to the Team Leader for review and resolution.
• Review assigned exception reports and prepare a daily Work Condition Report.
• Demonstrate diplomatic, professional written and verbal communication; safeguard confidential information.
