Job summary

CommunityCare in Oklahoma is seeking a Retention Specialist to support Medicare and Individual Health Plan members. You will drive proactive outreach, foster strong member relationships, and promote ongoing enrollment.

The role emphasizes service excellence, education, and collaboration with community partners. Responsibilities include onboarding calls, benefit meetings, and outreach to at‑risk members, plus coordination with sales, marketing, and customer service to ensure smooth transitions

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and empathy.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of Medicare Advantage and Individual Health Plan products.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry systems.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Proactive outreach to current members to assess satisfaction and promote continued enrollment.
• Conduct benefit meetings and new member orientations to inform about plan benefits.
• Contact at-risk members with outbound calls and provide education on benefits.
• Handle inbound member questions about benefits, coverage, and renewals.
• Build community partnerships to support retention initiatives.
• Coordinate wellness activities and member engagement events.
• Collaborate with internal teams to smooth transitions for new enrollees.
• Update member records and report retention trends.
