Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in a business-related or human services field, or equivalent experience.
• Medicare, SMP, or insurance-related experience strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one Medicare counseling to beneficiaries by phone or in person.
• Assist beneficiaries with Medicare Part D Plan Finder comparisons and enrollment support.
• Complete required government forms accurately and within the same workday or by the end of the next scheduled workday.
• Perform daily data entry and maintain accurate records in required systems (e.g., STARS/SIRS).
• Support recruitment and coordination of SHIINE volunteers.
• Interact and collaborate with local volunteers, community partners, and organizations.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all beneficiary and program information.
• Travel within the assigned region as directed by the SHIINE Manager.
• Stay current on Medicare updates, regulations, and program changes and attend all required trainings.
