Job summary

Palmetto GBA, LLC is seeking an education-focused healthcare educator to teach providers about Medicare coverage, utilization, and documentation. You will conduct workshops, conferences, and on-site visits as needed to address over-utilization and denial rates, while maintaining thorough documentation in the provider tracking system.

The role requires LPN/LVN or RN licensure with 5–7 years of clinical or educator experience, strong Excel/Word skills, and the ability to work remotely across SC,

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology and disease processes.
• Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Ability to persuade, negotiate, or influence others.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Educates providers on Medicare coverage and documentation via advisories, reports, letters, and calls.
• Documents all provider contacts in the tracking system.
• Conducts workshops and educational visits for providers with high usage or denials.
• Prepares regulatory-based provider education materials and analyzes reports to guide actions.
