Job summary

Active Generations in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a part-time Medicare Educator to provide unbiased education and counseling to beneficiaries about Medicare and related programs. The role supports outreach and collaboration with volunteers and community partners, with 15–25 hours per week and locations in Sioux Falls, Pierre, or Rapid City.

You will assist with plan comparisons, enrollment support, and accurate documentation while maintaining confidentiality and staying current on program

Qualifications

• Experience with Medicare programs and counseling.
• Clear communication and ability to explain complex information.
• Ability to present information to individuals and groups.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one Medicare counseling by phone or in person.
• Assist with Part D Plan Finder comparisons and enrollment support.
• Complete required government forms accurately within the same workday or by the end of the next scheduled workday.
• Maintain required records and data entry with accuracy.
