Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a seasoned healthcare analytics professional to join the Health Economics Network Strategy & Analytics team. The role focuses on producing high-quality analytical deliverables, standardizing reporting, and scalable data processes to support organizational goals.

You will partner with contracting, finance, actuarial, operations, and leadership to evaluate pricing impact, support negotiations, and drive data-informed decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 3+ years of healthcare finance, network analytics, and analysis on large claims data.
• Experience with FFS, Shared Risk and Savings models, and ACO activities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large healthcare datasets using SAS and monitor cost, utilization, reimbursement, and market trends.
• Develop and maintain dashboards in Tableau and Power BI to support strategy and negotiations.
• Ensure pricing, reimbursement, and reporting methodologies are accurate and transparent.
• Design tools using BI platforms to identify cost and revenue drivers by market segment and provider/payor.
• Develop SQL queries, analytical models, dashboards, and automated reporting for leadership.
