The ideal candidate has a coding certification and 1+ year of ICD-10 experience, with reliable transportation and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Coding Certification from AAPC or AHIMA or RN/LPN with ability to obtain certification within 12 months of hire.
• 1+ years of coding experience in ICD-10 diagnostic coding.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a coding and documentation resource with concurrent reviews and targeted chart retrievals.
• Communicate coding audit findings and CMS guidelines to providers to ensure compliance.
• Perform coding reviews through internal systems and routine records retrieval.
• Collaborate with organizational leaders to identify needs and solutions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clinic partners and staff.
