Job summary

The NHS is seeking a Medical Business Partner to act as a key specialist advisor to the Responsible Officer and Medical Leadership Teams. You will provide expert advice on medical workforce matters, including MHPS, workforce planning, professional standards, employee relations, and wellbeing, ensuring compliance with GMC and employment legislation.

You will lead and manage complex medical workforce employee relations cases, support management of disciplinary processes, and maintain relationships

Qualifications

• Experience with MHPS, workforce planning, and employment legislation.
• Knowledge of GMC requirements and trust policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex medical workforce employee relations cases.
• Provide specialist advice regarding consultants, SAS doctors, trust-grade doctors, locally employed doctors and honorary contract holders.
• Support management of disciplinary, grievance, dignity at work, capability, attendance and professional conduct processes.
• Ensure all medical workforce cases comply with MHPS and employment law.
• Develop approaches promoting early informal resolution.
• Maintain relationships with professional organisations including the BMA.
