Job summary

Sharps Compliance, Inc. is seeking a Class A Long-Haul Driver to service Large and Small Quantity medical waste accounts, ensuring safe, compliant transport and superior customer service.

You will manage routes, maintain records, and communicate with dispatchers to resolve issues promptly while handling overnight trips as needed. The role requires a CDL, 2+ years of tractor-trailer experience with Dry Van 53’ trailers, Roll-Offs, Jockey trucks, and Reefer units, plus DOT knowledge and strong

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• Minimum of 2 years of tractor trailer driving experience.
• Experience with Dry Van 53’ trailers, Roll-Offs, Jockey trucks, manual transmission, and refrigerated trailers (Reefer).
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine scheduled preventative maintenance across assigned facilities.
• Pick up and transport regulated medical waste safely according to all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Manage assigned LQ and SQ customer routes, ensuring timely and accurate service.
• Review and plan daily schedules using manifests, route sheets, and other documentation.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, communicating issues to supervisors or dispatchers.
• Complete all required paperwork, including route documentation and DOT Driver Logs.
