Job summary

Sharps Medical Waste Services is seeking a Class A CDL Long-Haul Driver to service Large and Small Quantity accounts nationwide. You will transport regulated medical waste safely, plan routes with manifests, maintain records, and deliver excellent customer service.

This role requires at least 2 years of tractor-trailer experience, the ability to drive manual transmissions, and compliance with DOT regulations. Training, benefits, and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• Minimum of 2 years of tractor trailer driving experience.
• Must be able to drive a manual transmission.

Responsibilities

• Transport regulated medical waste safely according to all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Manage assigned LQ and SQ routes, ensuring timely and accurate service.
• Plan daily schedules using manifests, route sheets, and other documentation.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, communicating issues to supervisors or dispatchers.
• Complete required paperwork, including route documentation and DOT Driver Logs.
