Job summary

Hospital Sisters Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Multispecialty Care team at St John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL. Ideal candidates are patient-focused, mission-driven caregivers applying clinical knowledge to coordinate and perform hands-on acute bedside care.

This 24-hour weekly overnight schedule supports high-quality patient outcomes and teamwork. Licensure as an RN in the state of practice is required; a BSN is preferred and healthcare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform hands-on acute bedside patient care.
• Provide care at the bedside as part of the multispecialty team.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient outcomes.

Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven caregivers looking for an opportunity to apply clinical knowledge to coordinate and perform hands on acute patient care at the bedside.

Position Specifics

Education Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.

Experience Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare is preferred.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required.
• Wisconsin: RNs may practice with a valid multi-state RN license as outlined in the Nurse Licensure Compact rules.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
