Job summary

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join its Multispecialty Care team in Springfield, IL. The ideal candidate provides patient-centered, mission-driven care and coordinates hands-on acute nursing at the bedside in the Cath Lab setting.

Required RN licensure in state of practice with BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required depending on patient population. BSN preferred and CCU experience helpful as we strive for excellence in patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program is required.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Critical care nursing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and perform hands-on acute patient care at the bedside.
  • Work within the Cath Lab department to support patient care.

$34.00 - $51.00

Education Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.
  • Bachelor’s of science in nursing is preferred.
Experience Qualifications
  • Critical Care Nursing experience is preferred.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
  • Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required. Wisconsin: RNs may practice with a valid multi-state RN license as outlined in the Nurse Licensure Compact rules.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) are required based on the patient population in the specialty area worked.
  • Specialty certifications based on patient population such as Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN), and Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) are preferred.
