Job summary

HSHS Medical Group in Springfield, IL is seeking a registered nurse to join the Transfer Center in a PRN role. You will provide bedside care and coordinate patient transfers across departments and facilities, ensuring safe and efficient operations.

Candidates should have an active RN license in Illinois, 3 years acute care experience, and BLS certification; BSN preferred. The role offers exposure to multiple facilities within the system and a supportive team culture.

Job description

Pay Range: $35.92 - $53.88 A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.

Education Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.

Experience Qualifications

• 3 years recent clinical experience in acute care is required.
• Critical care experience is preferred.
• ED or ICU experience preferred.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice is required.
• Wisconsin: RNs may practice with a valid multi-state RN license as outlined in the Nurse Licensure Compact rules.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
