Qualifications

• Associate degree from a NAACLS accredited medical laboratory technician/clinical laboratory technician with experience listed is required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates safe and competent use of equipment and software to carry out duties.
• Prioritize workflow by medical necessity and priority.
• Performs testing ensuring instrumentation operates within guidelines including maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Performs testing according to procedure manual and reports results with QA/QC considerations.
• Provides turnaround time on laboratory testing and communicates delays to caregivers.
• Instructs students and orients new employees as required.
