Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Medical Technologist PRN to ensure high-quality, efficient patient care. If you are passionate about patient care, we want you to apply!

You Will:

• Perform accurate and timely laboratory testing, including proficiency testing samples.
• Take departmental responsibility in the absence of the supervisor.
• Complete all records and documentation related to patient results.
• Perform stat procedures within turnaround time targets.
• Use good judgment and independent thinking in interpreting patient results.
• Review logs and resolve workload issues or communicate with staff.
• Perform quality control and handle problem or critical specimens/results.

You Should Have:

• Associate Degree (2 years) required; Bachelor's Degree (4 years) preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Technologist preferred.
• Florida Technologist License required or ability to obtain during interview.
• License in clinical specialties (Generalist preferred): Blood bank, Serology, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology.
