Certified Medical Technologist - PRN or as needed

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
To perform accurately and in a timely manner laboratory tests demonstrating critical judgment and following policies and procedures as appropriate. Presentation and customer courtesy are required components of the process.
Education:
College degree in Medical Technology.
Experience:
Preferred experience in a hospital laboratory setting.
Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations:
State of Florida Technologist or higher license in Chemistry, Hematology, Immunohematology, Serology, and Microbiology or proof of eligibility and dates approved for taking exam.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
Patient contact and handling of biohazardous specimens
Supervised by: Director, Supervisor

Works with all departments on accounting and/or human resource issues.
