The role emphasizes quality control, adherence to regulatory guidelines, and collaboration with the Laboratory team to maintain efficient operations and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Experience with quality control procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Certification in Medical Technology or MT/CLS program credibility.
• Regulatory awareness and proficiency testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate and high complexity testing according to procedures.
• Ensure specimen integrity and accurate reporting in LIS/HIS.
• Operate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and maintain supplies.
• Maintain quality control, document results, and notify supervisor of variances.
• Participate in Quality Assurance activities and safety programs.

Education

Baccalaureate Degree in Biological Science

NAACLS approved Medical Technology program

ASCP Certification

CLIA ’88 Equivalent
