Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is seeking a Medical Technologist to perform moderate and high complexity laboratory testing in the Clinical Laboratory. You will analyze specimens, report results, and maintain quality control while ensuring patient care is at the forefront.

The role requires a BSc in Biological Science with a NAACLS MT program and ASCP certification, plus 6–12 months of clinical internship. This on-site position supports Kentucky communities served by SEH.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree in Biological Science with NAACLS MT program and ASCP certification.
• Certification required; clinical internship 6–12 months.
• Non-exempt status per FLSA.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate to high complexity testing in the clinical laboratory.
• Report results within established turnaround times.
• Operate, troubleshoot and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Document quality control and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Enter patient data in LIS and HIS systems accurately.
