Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician/MT/MLS to join the Carolinas Medical Center - LC Lab in Charlotte. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, with shifts 7:00am–5:30pm and a pay range of $28.55–$42.85 per hour.

Responsibilities include testing, reagent prep, inventory management, and QA compliance to support patient care. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree and MT(ASCP) or MLS(ASCP) eligibility, with certification required within one year of hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with MT/MLS eligibility.
• MT (ASCP) or MLS (ASCP) eligibility within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates proficiency and follows testing procedures and policies.
• Prepares reagents and maintains inventory for test procedures.
• Exercises clinical judgment and communicates with leadership.
• Adheres to accreditation and regulatory requirements (CAP, TJC, OSHA).
