Baptist Health Floyd Laboratory is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician for full-time work (64 hours biweekly) with 4 eight-hour shifts from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, including weekends and holidays. The role requires knowledge of Clinical Laboratory Science and the ability to perform high-complexity testing following SOPs.

Formación

• Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related biological science from an accredited institution.
• ASCP or AMT certification, required for testing personnel.
• Current students must attain ASCP/AMT certification within 18 months.
• Must meet CLIA '88 standards to be qualified as testing personnel.

Responsabilidades

• Perform high-complexity testing according to standard operating procedures.
• Maintain records of performance and QC standards.
• Generate accurate test results with independent judgment within QC guidelines.
