Qualifications

• AssociateDegree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related biological science from an accredited institution.
• ASCP or AMT certification required; current students must attain ASCP/AMT certification within 18 months.
• Must meet CLIA '88 standards to be qualified as testing personnel.

Responsibilities

• Perform high complexity testing and understand the clinical relevance of laboratory testing and reporting.
• Maintain records of performance and use independent judgement to generate acceptable test results within QC standards.
• Perform testing according to standard operating procedures.
