Baptist Health Floyd Laboratory in New Albany, IN is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician for a full-time role. The position offers 64 hours biweekly across four 8-hour shifts (6:00am-2:30pm) with weekend and holiday rotation.

This lab is part of the Baptist Health system serving the Southern Indiana/Louisville area. Qualified candidates should have knowledge of Clinical Laboratory Science, the ability to perform high-complexity testing, and an understanding of how laboratory results impact

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Clinical Laboratory Science and its clinical relevance.
• Ability to perform high-complexity testing in a CLIA-compliant environment.
• Maintain records of performance and utilize independent judgement to generate acceptable test results within QC standards.

• Maintain and document performance records and QC data.

In this role, you must haveknowledge of Clinical Laboratory Science, possess the skills necessary to perform high complexity testing and have anunderstanding of the clinical relevance of laboratory testing and reporting. Must maintain records of performance and utilize independent judgement to generate acceptable test results within QCstandards. Performs testing according to standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related biological science from an accredited institution
• ASCP or AMT certification
• Current students must attain ASCP/AMT certification within 18 months
• Must meet CLIA '88 standards to be qualified as testing personnel
