Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd Laboratory in New Albany, IN seeks a Medical Laboratory Technician for PRN shifts (Sat-Sun 6a-2:30p) with 3rd weekend rotation and holiday coverage. You perform high‑complexity testing per SOPs, maintain QC records, and work within CLIA standards as part of a regional hospital lab team. Requires ASCP/AMT certification or eligibility and an Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in medical laboratory technology or related science.
• ASCP or AMT certification.
• Current students must attain ASCP/AMT certification within 18 months.
• Must meet CLIA '88 standards to qualify as testing personnel.

• Maintain records of performance and QC data.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary laboratory team.
