Penobscot Valley Hospital is seeking a National Medical/Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join our full-time team. The role involves performing laboratory testing across departments, calibrating instruments, and ensuring QC. The position requires BLS and relevant certification, with flexible shifts and weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• National medical / clinical laboratory technologist certification required; ASCP/AMT or equivalent.
• BLS required for all staff safety and response readiness.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing in all areas per tests requested.
• Operate and troubleshoot the CPSI system within scope of responsibility.
• Perform instrument calibration and quality control to ensure accurate results.
• Instruct and observe students in performing testing and orient new staff.
