Advocate Health is seeking a Medical Technologist to perform a broad range of laboratory tests and ensure timely, accurate results across transfusion services, microbiology, chemistry, hematology, histology, and flow cytometry. You will supervise training for staff and maintain quality control with adherence to CAP standards.

Requires MT/MLS certification within 1 year or AMT MT certification within 1 year and a Bachelor's in related field. No experience required.

• Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences.
• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related field.
• No experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs, evaluates, and monitors laboratory tests as authorized within established protocols.
• Monitors workflow and adjusts to complete work in a timely manner.
• Evaluates results for clinical significance, validity and appropriateness.
• Follows policy in reporting and notification of test results.
• Performs calibration, maintenance and repair of instruments and equipment.
