Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute is seeking a Laboratory Technologist to perform daily specimen processing and support QA/QC of reagents and instruments. You will communicate with physicians and staff to ensure accurate lab results and adherence to procedures.

The ideal candidate holds a biology/chemistry/molecular-related bachelor’s degree, has course training in medical technology, and prefers ASCP certification or equivalent licensure.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Chemistry, molecular or related field; medical technology training preferred.
• ASCP certification or equivalent licensure preferred; Florida licensure may be required.
• Minimum 1 year related lab experience is preferred.

• Responsible for daily specimen processing in the designated laboratory.
• Communicates with staff physicians and other staff regarding patient specimens; ensures QA/QC of reagents and instrumentation.
