Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support daily specimen processing at our Corporate Headquarters. You will work closely with physicians and staff to ensure accurate, timely laboratory results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, molecular or related field.
• Medical technology training program with 1 year of related experience preferred.
• State of Florida clinical laboratory license required; ASCP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily specimen processing in the designated laboratory.
• Communicates with staff physicians and other staff regarding patient’s specimen.
• QA/QC of reagents, instrumentation, proficiency testing, etc.
