Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Maine is seeking a Registered Nurse for Medical-Surgical. The role offers 3 x 12-hour shifts (day and night options) with multiple available locations including Bridgton, Rumford, and CMMC. Compensation includes a sign-on bonus and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS certificate within 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator management experience preferred.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• Direct patient/family teaching and supervise nursing staff while maintaining standards of care.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in patient condition, test results and symptoms.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.

Education

RN License

BLS on hire

ACLS within 30 days on hire

BSN preferred

Ventilator management experience preferred

Acute care hospital experience preferred
