Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Medical-Surgical unit. This full-time role offers 3 x 12-hour shifts with day and night options and requires active RN licensure in the state.

Sign-On bonuses up to $20,000 for experienced RNs and up to $10,000 for new graduates apply. Pay ranges from $36.00 to $49.16 per hour, with overtime in accordance with law. Join a supportive team and contribute to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• Directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care within the Medical/Surgical Unit.
• Communicates with physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
• Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
