Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center Inc in Maine is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical-Surgical Unit. This full-time role offers day and night shifts with a 3×12-hour schedule across Bridgton, Rumford, or the main hospital.

You will provide safe patient care using the nursing process, educate patients and families, and collaborate with physicians on changes in condition. A valid RN license and BLS are required; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS certification required at hire and maintained.
• ACLS certification preferred within 30 days of hire.
• Acute care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator management experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Provide direct patient care and guide patient/family teaching.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in patient condition and test results.
• Direct and guide nursing staff in the unit to maintain standards of care.
