Boston Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical-Surgical 6 East unit (Med Surg - Menino 6 East). This 36-bed unit provides a broad range of medical-surgical care and emphasizes professional integrity and compassionate patient service.

You will deliver nursing care, assess and plan care, coordinate with the health care team, update patient records, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as an RN in Massachusetts.
• 1+ years RN experience preferred.
• BLS certification; ACLS certification in certain units.
• Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred); BSN within 4 years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in the Medical Surgical unit.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, intervene, evaluate, and educate patients.
• Coordinate and delegate care with inter-professional colleagues.
• Update and manage patient records; enter and interpret data.
• Follow unit policies and participate in quality improvement projects.
• Assist leadership in quality initiatives.
