Boston Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical Surgical unit (M6E, 6 East). The position offers a 36-hour schedule with rotating days and nights and every other weekend/holidays.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice professional nursing in Massachusetts.
• 1+ years RN experience preferred; BSN preferred where noted.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS required in certain units.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in Medical Surgical unit, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Communicate with health care team, patients, and families.
• Coordinate and delegate patient care activities with inter-professional colleagues.
• Update and manage patient records; interpret computerized data.
