HCA Healthcare Summerville Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care aligned with departmental standards and state regulations. The position involves collaborating with physicians and care teams, documenting interventions, and applying nursing models to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• < 1 year applicable experience.
• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in state(s) of practice and/or active compact license.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsabilités

• Assess the patient’s condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic response, and document care in the medical record; respond to adverse drug events as needed.
• Provide exceptional care by promptly responding to patient requests, proactively anticipating needs, and resolving them.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the condition, treatment plan, medications, side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring understanding.
