HCA Healthcare Summerville Hospital in Moncks Corner, SC seeks an Inpatient Post Surgical Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. You will collaborate with the care team to implement nursing models and advocate for patients and families.

The role emphasizes assessing patients on admission and during shifts, administering medications, documenting care, and educating families about plans. A valid RN license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Associates or RN diploma required to practice as a registered nurse.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.
• At least 1 year of applicable nursing experience.
• Current licensed registered nurse in the state and/or active compact license.
• Basic Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsabilités

• Assess the patient’s condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting changes in status.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic responses, and document care in the medical record.
• Provide exceptional care by responding to patient requests and proactively addressing needs.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about condition, treatment plan, medications, side effects, and follow-up measures.
